| Acceptable downtime... quote: ...the company upgrades the 360's distribution software, allowing the much requested ability to conduct broadband downloads in the dashboard background.
For a company that has it's primary products built around multitasking this always seemd like a strange weakness for the 360 to have. Glad to see they are addressing it at last. -- Just watch me, I'll become the God of Death once again... but right now, I need some sleep.

| Re: Acceptable downtime... I agree, this limitation has actually made me change my mind about downloading things many times. Great to see they'll finally be adding this feature, although IMO it should have been in there from the beginning.
Checking out all the E3 downloads will be interesting. The HD content in particular will be fun to look at. -- "I'll follow the law until it's just stupid." -Ted Nugent

| Re: Acceptable downtime... That's a bug in the progress bar. It erroneously adds 50 to whatever number you had before (if it was less than 50%).
Just try it. Cancel a download when it's at 1%, and the next time the Dashboard will make it jump immediately to 51%. -- Happy customer of TOROON08CGO | Silentblue.net Canadian DSL Troubleshooting and Why Can't I Get It? FAQs
