Painting the walls with an RF-absorbing paint is a start, but you have to also do the ceiling and floor. And what about those areas left covered in clothing? Does she develop a reaction there too or just to areas she's probably sunburned a hundred times.

I'm not usually one to reply to my own posts, but I just coincidentally came across a Wall Street Journal article that read:

Neither the woman, nor any researchers she interacted with would know which rooms had WiFi and which wouldn't. She would be tracked through these rooms and would be both physically observed, would have vital signs (Blood pressure, heart rate, etc) taken while in the rooms, and would fill out a short survey about how she felt in each of the rooms as she was in it. When she was done, the data could be compiled. If any link between WiFi rooms and her physical reactions existed, it would show up in the data. Otherwise, other things cause her reactions. | |

| Test her! Should be fairly easy to figure out if she's "telling the truth". Setup 5-6 different rooms far from each other. Ensure that some have wifi signals present, others do not. Make sure there is no way to figure it out visually. See which rooms make her get an "allergic reaction" and which ones do not...
Of course, if she was just doing it for attention/money, she'd never agree. That too would prove she's BS'ing.

| Err I can sense Wi-fi in a small cubic area. Not in a large one, but a small one, like an apartment. Not "allergic" to it, I think that's impossible. But I am definitely sensitive to it. I run a G router in my home and use a wireless enabled laptop and I can definitely feel the difference when I'm not at home versus when I am. It's subtle but it's there. | |

Incandescent light is the same way; if I walk into a room where incandescent light is being used, I can feel it; if the light is turned off, I feel it. It's been tested. Almost seems like I can feel the heat being generated from the bulb, though from across the room that seems unlikely.
LCD light, LEDs, flourescent, and "natural" light like sunlight is different, I don't feel a thing. | |
