Wireless health scare stories are all the rage in the UK of late. A few weeks ago, we posted a report about a woman who painted her whole house black to avoid the "health hazards" of wireless communications. Now the Daily Mail runs a piece on a UK woman who wanders through life wearing a faraday cage on her head. Of course, we're not immune on this side of the pond; we recently posted a story about an Illinois woman who consults angels when she's not busy running a health campaign against wireless technology (their website is a treat).

Last week, the UK's Independent ran a scare-mongering story and follow-up editorial that suggested there was ample evidence for worry, though more reasonable voices have been trying to talk people away from the ledge. We should also note that scientists believe it may be a new type of fungus that's wiping out bee colonies, not wireless communications as the Independent recently inferred.
