| Re: Hello Unnamed sources report the elusive Mr. Herman is engaged in ProPublica's Free The Files project.
FTF is all about getting previously buried Political Ad Data into an open database - despite TV News stations making that as difficult as possible.
said by PP's FFree :Outside groups are spending hundreds of millions of dollars to influence the coming electionsmoney that has long been hard to track.
This summer, the FCC ordered TV stations to publish online detailed records of political ad buys.
[Which they did, in PDF form]
So far it's impossible to search these files by candidate or political group-meaning it's impossible to get a full picture of the spending.
We want to change that. Today, we're [making available] a new tool to help detail campaign ad filings in 33 swing markets.
[It's an online tool to enable volunteers to quickly extract 4 pieces of info - Candidate/PAC name, Ad Agency, Order Number and Gross $ amount - from each Ad order sheet.]
Every day, we'll be pulling fresh files from the FCC website, and asking for your help extracting key data points that will help uncover outside spending in the final days of the campaign.
Every file you help free will be added to our page, so well all be able to get a better picture of the outside groups spending.
What do we expect to find in the FCC filings? A range of information from identifying which outside groups are buying ads and where, to finding new groups that enter the fray late in the game, to details on who is behind opaque nonprofits that are playing a larger role in the election. Project's front page. »projects.propublica.org/free-the-files/
Here's a spending graphic based on extracted data so far.

Volunteers need to setup a user/pass or use Facebook login.
It's only 4 fields to fill in. I've done about 600 files in two days (over $20 Million in ad buys).
Thank you for letting me pretend this is OP related. I feel it's important and I won't make a habit of it. -- Campaign contributions influence laws through a process called bribery.

| | wendys has a new logo
Wendys, the restaurant where dreams come true if, in your dreams, burgers are square, has just released an image of its new logo, the first update to the chains design in almost thirty years.
The familiar, dead-eyed, Children of the Corn-esque rendering of the chains namesake has been re-imagined as a slightly older-looking redhead whose hair has shading, volume, and sexy body. The angle of her pigtails is less offensive to physics. While the old Wendy was fully contained within her circle, a two-dimensional prisoner cooking up hamburgers all day long for hungry adults even though shes a child, shes just a child, the new Wendy bursts forth from her circle; it literally cannot contain her.

I'd say the real culprit is processed food. Also too much hcfs, it's everywhere even in bread. plant based proteins are incomplete proteins and need to be mixed with other sources of protein to actually be useful. That's why something like beans and rice are good because the complete each other, so to speak. Peanut butter on bread would be another example.

Fish is a meat but its a much healthier source of protein that red meat. Wild salmon is rich in omega 3. Japanase culture is very heavy leaned toward consumption of fish and they are one of the healthiest people on earth who live the longest. The only reason I chose that site was because it has a clear graph showing the content of each essential amino acid for the particular sources. If you do any real research, you will find the information is correct. Perhaps you are confusing the term complete protein? It is true that many plant based sources of protein are low in a particular amino but to say they are incomplete is not accurate. As BF69 said, they should be mixed... but then I don't know anyone who is on a total meat diet either and I highly doubt they would be considered healthy if they were on one.
If you are looking at East Indian culture, you might want to consider that the vast majority of them are so poor that they barely eat anything at all. Do some research on vegetarian/vegan bodybuilders and you may change your mind.
True, the Japanese diet is one of the healthiest in the world and I am not trying to convince anyone to be a vegetarian (or pescetarian), I am only stating what research shows and that most people have inaccurate beliefs about what a 'healthy diet' is.

| Wendy's is some of the best fast food around. Chick-Fil-A is my favorite but the nearest one is in Burlington, MA. Wendy's always serves food hot. McDonald's has gotten nasty lately with cold food and filthy restaurants along with bad service. Burger King was my favorite but they have jumped the shark with run down facilities, horrible service, and they have downsized their offerings (such as very little beef on a cheeseburger). I am surprised a certain Burger King in a bad neighborhood in Springfield, MA has not been shut down by the health inspectors (the place is filthy, has bad clientele, and horrible service). There are many accounts about homeless individuals taking cups out of the trash and trying to get a refill and I've seen drug paraphernalia (syringes and such) littered on their property. If that were my restaurant, there would be bullet proof glass between the servers and the guests as that is a high crime area.
As for me, I am trying to eat healthier as my weight has taken a toll on my health. I am trying to eat at Subway more even though its pricey. I also like Panera bread.
As for Friendly's, I could care less if they fail. The last time we ate there, service was horrible and the food sent my grandmother to the ladies room (end of discussion) and their wait staff was rude. -- I wish I still lived in Iowa; Everything there from rent and groceries to Cable TV is much cheaper in Iowa (especially with an overbuilder in town).

I also like Panera bread. Bingo. You may eat less unhealthy fats, preservatives but now you eat more carbohydrates and sodium in your diet. Subway don't put much meat on bread so you don't get enough protein in your diet. You'll make more progress in loosing weight if you increase protein intake and reduce carbs. Also when you eat carbs, choose only whole grain bread. Anyway eating often at subway or panera bread is expensive. You need to cook and eat more at home.
And you're welcome to eat friend food while u try to loose weight but you must be smart about it. Use olive oil on salad but not for fried eggs. Use instead butter as its stable and won't convert into trans fat.
Then try to eat more often but in smaller proportions. Instead of 3 big square meals, get 5-6 small meals.
Also since I doubt you eat fully balanced meal, get multivitamins high in vitamin b and fish oil (1g min daily) with your meal.

Four of the FTC commissioners have become convinced after more than a year of investigation that Google illegally used its dominance of the search market to hurt its rivals, while one commissioner is skeptical, the sources said.
All three declined to be named to protect working relationships.
Two of the sources said a decision on how to proceed could come in late November or early December.
A long list of companies has been complaining to the FTC, arguing that the agency should crack down on Google.
Google rivals specializing in travel, shopping and entertainment have accused Google, the world's No. 1 search engine, of unfairly giving their web sites low quality rankings in search results to steer Internet users away from their websites and toward Google products that provide similar services.
If the agency finds that Google broke the law, the FTC and Google could hammer out a settlement that resolves the issues or, if settlement negotiations fail, the matter could end up in a lengthy, expensive court fight.
The FTC announced in April that it had hired high-powered Washington lawyer Beth Wilkinson to lead the probe. The hiring was seen as a sign that the FTC was contemplating filing a lawsuit against Google.
This is not the first run-in that Google has had with the agency.
In August, Google was forced to pay $22.5 million to settle charges it bypassed the privacy settings of customers using Apple Inc's Safari browser. The practice was in violation of a 2011 consent decree with the FTC over a botched rollout of the now defunct social network Buzz.

Canadian bank purchases credit card debts as means to foreclose on California homeowners
said by CAWatch :In a significant escalation by debt collectors who pursue consumers for payment, a major Canadian bank has threatened to foreclose on the homes of hundreds of Californians unless they pay back old credit card debts.
California law generally makes foreclosure available only to lenders using residential properties as security, and collectors of unsecured debts, like credit card loans, normally are limited to attaching wages or bank accounts.
But Credigy Receivables has taken advantage of Californias relatively lax debt collection laws. The bank has repeatedly bypassed a legal hurdle that normally prevents credit card companies from threatening to take away the homes of debtors who refuse or are unable to pay.

Grenade burns sleeping girl as SWAT team raids Billings home with No Meth Lab Inside
said by Missoulian :A 12-year-old girl suffered burns to one side of her body when a flash grenade went off next to her as a police SWAT team raided a West End home Tuesday morning.
"She has first- and second-degree burns down the left side of her body and on her arms," said the girl's mother, Jackie Fasching. "She's got severe pain."

A SWAT member attached it to a boomstick, a metal pole that detonates the grenade, and stuck it through the bedroom window. St. John said the grenade normally stays on the boomstick so it goes off in a controlled manner at a higher level. However, the officer didn't realize that there was a delay on the grenade when he tried to detonate it. He dropped it to move onto a new device, St. John said. The grenade fell to the floor and went off near the girl. "It was totally unforeseen, totally unplanned and extremely regrettable," Police Chief Rich St. John said. On Thursday, Fasching took her daughter back to the hospital to have her wounds treated. She questioned why police would take such actions with children in the home and why it needed a SWAT team. "A simple knock on the door and I would've let them in," she said. "They said their intel told them there was a meth lab at our house. If they would've checked, they would've known there's not." She and her two daughters and her husband were home at the time of the raid. She said her husband, who suffers from congenital heart disease and liver failure, told officers he would open the front door as the raid began and was opening it as they knocked it down. When the grenade went off in the room, it left a large bowl-shaped dent in the wall and "blew the nails out of the drywall," Fasching said. St. John said investigators did plenty of homework on the residence before deciding to launch the raid but didn't know children were inside. -- Campaign contributions influence laws through a process called bribery.

The US ISPs are cranking up the 6 strikes anti-piracy enforcement plans starting in November.
»torrentfreak.com/att-starts-six-···-121012/
A set of leaked internal AT&T training documents obtained by TorrentFreak reveal that the Internet provider will start sending out anti-piracy warning notices to its subscribers on November 28. Customers whose accounts are repeatedly flagged for alleged copyright infringements will have their access to frequently visited websites blocked, until they complete an online copyright course. Its expected that most other participating ISPs will start their versions of the anti-piracy plan on the same date.
The parties agreed on a system through which subscribers are warned that their copyright infringements are unacceptable. After several warnings ISPs may then take a variety of repressive measures to punish the alleged infringers.
The reports are made by the content owners and are of IP-addresses that are associated with copyright infringing activities. AT&T will not share any personally identifiable information about its customers with content owners until authorized by the customer or required to do so by law.
