You do have the ability to do it, but if you are caught doing it you get pushed into a tethering plan. That plan just charges you more money for the same bytes.

| times like these ..I'm glad to be on little U.S. Cellular with 5GB/mo. and a droid that isn't as locked down.
Sure, I rarely use more than slightly over 2GB/mo, but I like not having to worry.
3-4GB/mo should be minimum standard. 2GB is right at that limit where they KNOW people will cross it. | |
