BASKING RIDGE -- Verizon Wireless and Google Inc. said they are teaming up to speed development of mobile devices based on Google's Android software that will run on Verizon's cell phone network.
Financial details were not disclosed.
The companies said they expect the deal to produce its first handsets in the next few weeks. They said the phones will be available at Verizon Wireless retail and online stores.
