Verizon Offers Wireless/Broadband Bundle DiscountUnveils new 'Flex Double Play' promotion.... 10:03AM Tuesday Jun 17 2008 by Karl Bodetags: dsl · wireless · bundles · Verizon Online DSLAs had been expected, Verizon today unveiled their "Flex Double Play" wireless and broadband bundle. Verizon users who bundle a national Verizon Wireless calling plan of 450 minutes or greater, and a FiOS or DSL (3Mbps only) connection can save up to $14. Of course the amount saved depends on what services you're signed up for, your location, and your contract length (see attached price chart). Says Big Red: For example, a 450-minute Verizon Wireless Nationwide calling plan can be combined with a FiOS mid-tier Internet plan for a Flex double play starting at $84.99 monthly, or nearly $13 per month less than unbundled prices. Where available, FiOS TV can also be added to this bundle with rates beginning at $124.99 a month for a monthly savings of nearly $15. A one or two year contract is required to get the bundle discount. Related:- AT&T Hints At Femtocell Service

| So is 20/5 replacing 15/2 in the remaining markets Here in SoCal we still have 5/2, 15/2, 15/15 and 30/15 as our options. No 20Mb plan yet. It would be nice to get bumped from 30Mb to 50Mb. | |

| Dry Loop? Since there is no land line phone service required, does this price hold for dry loop customers? Can I get 450 minutes, DSL and no POTS line for $69.99.???
I assume the 15% Wireless discount I get through my employer can not be stacked on top of this?

When I bundled my services through Verizon, I saw the 15% monthly discount for the wireless service, and regular price for the other services (I ended up using DirecTV, Verizon POTS, and Verizon Wireless). Will it count for the entire total? Nope.

@verizon.com | The bundle does include dry loop. You would take your cell fone plan, add $30 for the dry loop (3 meg) and that's ur total bill plus tax. And it comes combined on one bill.

| Re: Dry Loop? i signed up for FIOS last month and didn't want to get the lan line but it was cheaper to get the bundle. I already had Verizon wireless as my cell carrier too.
Anyone know if it's possible to switch at this point.. I am guessing no as I'd have to terminate my 2 year contract.

| worthless in NYC, I get dryloop 3mb dsl from verizon $40 no tax then I get 500min SERO phone from Sprint for $30 +tax, so to "switch" to verizon's $70 "double play" would be a waste of effort (unless I wanted their network). were I not SERO, Sprint has a 450min plan for $40 +tax, so it may still not be worth switching just to save $10. | |

join:2004-10-16 Hackettstown, NJ | What savings? My 3mb DSL is 29.99 and my 450min cell plan is $39.99. This deal costs me a penny more than what I'm already paying.
