Why they only allow a specified number of email accounts for access makes no sense either if the plan has internet access which one would assume does not block content.
yeah I'm also on sero for 29.99  Sprints great like that.
Despite what everyone says about Sprint going down, they have great cheap rates and excellent evdo coverage. Hopefully Sprint will stay afloat in this current economy. | |

1. They just recently came out with the "simply everything" plan.
2. They are notoriously slow to update the website.
Look for them to drop and/or modify the 2500 minute plan. I doubt anyone would go that route and if your getting your email address from an employee, they should tell you about the 99.99 unlimited plan vs the 2500 minute plan.
As far as Sprint and unlimited. It has been posted here dozens of times. Sprint doesn't cap you like VZW.. however, no matter how much verizon customers get beat down, they still hum along, paying out the a$$ with a mindset that they have the "best" deal. Guess that's the difference between have's (sprint) and have nots (verizon). | |

| Re: Must be a joke! There's no doubt but that there are some places where one carrier will have coverage and another won't.
That said, VZW is usually Sprint's roaming partner of last resort in places where Alltel, USCC, etc., don't come through. So I am surprised to hear that your Sprint Treo couldn't get a signal for you, even a VZW one.
On the other hand, VZW is much stingier with their roaming agreements, preferring to keep their subs on their network unless they have no coverage whatsoever.
Last spring I was in eastern NC where neither Sprint nor VZW had good native coverage. I was able to roam, even EVDO roam, on Alltel, and my wife's VZW work phone couldn't make a call.
I'm glad VZW works for you though. | |

A $30 phone is useless if it only works on and around highways. I beg to differ. I've been all over northern, and central Ky with not only Sprint service but data too. Sprint does have roaming agreements with Bluegrass wireless and Altel to name a few so if you don't get a sprint connection, chances are, you will get one of those. Last trip to Glasgow KY took me through Lexington, Bardstown and even visited Bowlingreen and took the family over to Mammoth cave NP. Lost service 200 feet into the cave. But I was roaming when in the park (digital that is). Sometimes your phone can hurt you too. I had 2 phones. Sanyo MM7500 and a Vi2300. Both worked. Now, if you think Verizon is everywhere.. I have perfect service in a place call Clair MI (boy scout camp). While verizon and T-mobile users are running around like chickens looking for service, I'm watching live radar feeds of approaching storms. And to end this little rant, father-in-law travels from Tampa FL to Detroit Mi 5 times a years (taking I-75, sometimes, a few back roads for the scenic value) and says he's never lost service on his LG Fusic phone (sprint). So guess you can say, everyone has a "different" experience.  | |

| Re: Must be a joke! He must have not had roaming turned on. I recently did a driving trip from FL, GA, TN, KY, IL, MO and had no issues with Sprint service or roaming. Was on the phone constantly and even streaming internet radio into the car stereo.
Sprint roaming works fine, but you have to have it turned on. Sounds to me like a typical Sprint basher.
And yes, Sprint has EVDO roaming with Alltel. Verizon has no domestic roaming agreements. | |

Also ATT has a PDA unlimited data plan for $30 for existing voice customers or $35 for Unlimited Data and 200 messages a month.
And for those who own a 3G phone with ATT and you want to take advantage of your 3G internet they have a plan called Media Net Unlimited for $15.00 a month or $35.00 for a plan called MEdia Max Unlimited which allows you unlimited internet on your 3G phone and Unlimited Messaging and Unlimited Celular Video.
Verizon as usual is overpriced. | |

I get so confused by all of these new unlimited* plans. I can not help but wonder if further into the fine print I will not find that as good as the unlimited* plan is it will not be enough and I would end up wishing I had gotten the unlimited*-unlimited* plan. But will the unlimited*-unlimited* plan cover my needs, or will I find at a later date I really need to get the unlimited*-unlimited*-unlimited* plan. If I say I will give an Unlimited number of widgets then guess what, If I don't I could be sued. Lets cut all the fine print BS and if its not Unlimited then stop advertising it. Helio phones say there data and text and pics are Unlimited and funny no fine print saying otherwise. I think I am going to switch to them.

| check this out! I have my wife, my cousin, my step dad, and my friend Tony all on the 30 bucks a month SERO Plan... Further more, I applied my corporate discount to their accounts...
so average phone bill from sprint $28 and change including taxes and fees.
Even better Everyone except my step dad has a PDA phone and trust me... everyone is eatting away data and texting (except for my step dad who doesn't understand texting).
My little sister as of today has sent 5306 text messages (and we're still 10 days away from our billing cycle). and I've used 281542 worth of data... not a lot, but nevertheless Unlimited according to Sprint. | |

No streaming, no video apps, no p2p, nothing that could be considered to be a server under the most liberal definition of server (so no Slingbox), no tethering, etc.
Under such TOS restrictions, the fact that this plan is technically uncapped is pretty worthless as a selling point. I use about 500 MB on a light month, and I probably wouldn't break 100 if I only browsed and checked my e-mail. | |

There a few freaks that will go into the thousands of minutes, but just as voip & land line pots services they can still offer most customers more.
Think somewhere in the $20-45 range for just voice unlimited without gimmicks. | |

If you are hitting the ceiling on your minutes every month, it would be better to step your plan up and it would still be cheaper than the $99... the $99 is a gimick for people who think they need unlimited and like the safety net as well.
For example, I easily use a few thousand minutes a month so I am definitely on an unlimited plan. My sister regularly received overage bills and she is on an unlimited plan as well... she uses between 7 and 9 thousand minutes a month. | |

I've been looking for a family plan that includes 2 regular phones (one for me, one for my brother), and a blackberry for my dad...All plans I have found that include unlimited internet for the blackberry are ~$110/month for only ~500 anytime minutes. I just looked that that sprint sero, and it came out to be $89.99/month just for the blackberry with unlimited internet. Any ideas of how to get the cost down?

| QNC I get unlimited FREE internet via QNC on my Moto Q. It's slow but works amazingly well with Opera Mini. Email works fine. I can read newsgroups on Google Groups and chat via ebuddy.
I pay $94yr for 1500 mins with Page Plus Cellular (Verizon MVNO), comes to 6c/min, averages out to $7.83/month and 125 mins/month. Roaming is 30c/min but I never roam.
They are supposed to have data soon but as long as QNC works I won't use it.
