| Competitiveness Hopefully this will spur some healthy competition since there will now be three players in that area. I don't think prices will drop (and if it does, not that significant), but I do expect some good incentives.

Orange Park, FL | Living in an old neighborhood actually helps your chances. The newer technologies (i.e. FITL) don't have a deployed U-verse solution yet. Copper facilities (read: old) are the first ones being targetted.

| Re: the big question There doesn't need to be a winner or a loser- in most markets there's enough customers that both the telco and the cableco can both make money, and having more players in the market than one means at least one or two of the benefits of competition can float down to the end-user. | |
