Voice recognition has been around almost as long... anyone remember the Tandy/Radio Shack Color Computer E.A.R.S. module? That was circa 1985. It was impressive for the era. The earliest TV I can remember showing voice recognition was the original Battlestar Galactica -- Adama's log entiries... (1979) (Yes, Star Trek predates it, but I wasn't born when it originally aired.) | |
