Where I moved from the max voltage variation was about 4 (8) Volts. It is like one's broadband speed varying from 4Mbps to 500Kbps over an Eight Hour Period. Fortunately the builder installed AC equipment rated for 208 Volts to 250 Volts otherwise I would be replacing compressors on a regular basis.
