And as usual with TOS, there is no definition of what qualifies as a Server (ie: A Daemon such as SMTP or FTP) vs what applications with Server-Like Functionality (BitTorrent, Timbuktu/Remote-Screen-Controllers, etc) are considered Servers. They use a broad claim that any program/application that allows other computers to request information from you is a Server. Thus a P2P program is a Server although it main purpose is to REQUEST files (like a FTP Client) and so is running a Remote-Screen/Controller Client like Timbuktu since it is a Server to the other Client who has logged on to See/Control your Screen.

| Verizon enforces it by blocking every useful (standard) port that one might run a service on (25, 53, 80, etc). You can get their commercial package at twice the cost, but they don't offer the quoted high upload speeds for it. -- Interested in open source engine management for your Subaru? | |

SAME HERE! Everyone in my town (Westborough, MA) can get FiOS but me. I watched as they wired the long, long street connected to mine. But they won't wire the short street I live on. My only option is Charter cable, where I pay $65/month for a lousy unreliable 5Mbps/512kbps! Death to both of them!!!

| Stuck with DSL here. I'm stuck in Ex GTEarea and it looks like Verizon has no plans to upgrade any of it. If I read right a while back Verizon was trying to sell the Ex GTE area they bought. I want FIOS, I'm stuck with 1.5/384. I live in a trailer court and they provide us with their own cable tv so we can't get Insighttbb 10/1 in here either. I had to argue with a bunch of Verizon DSL techs to get the 1.5/384. One department said no and another said yes. At least 300 trailers in this trailer court and we are stuck with slow arse Verizon DSL. | |

| Fios Sym I just checked and it's available in my PA Market. 2 years 15/15 @ 64.99. But seriously, why would I need the upload unless i'm going to run a dedicated game server or host my own video site. the 15/2 suits just fine for my needs. My pings in game are not that bad to really complain about with the 15/2. | |
