RCN Corporation (NASDAQ: RCNI), announced today it will carry the new, NFL RedZone channel starting this weekend on Sept. 13. The company also announced today it renewed a long-term agreement with the NFL Network.

NFL RedZone debuts on the first Sunday of the 2009 NFL regular season and will launch on the RCN network on September 13 at 1:00 PM. Every Sunday, fans will be able to watch all touchdowns and key plays live, throughout the day. Content will be continually updated to feature the most exciting moments as they happen. The channel will also air on channel 200 (HD) and channel 148 (standard) in Lehigh Valley.
