Sony and Ericsson Partner Up

Sony and Ericsson are partnering to create software which will “link their products through wireless networks”, reports NewsFactor.com. The two industry giants have successfully paired together before, to create Sony Ericsson mobile phones which are now a leader in their field. The new pairing uses technology based on the Digital Living Network Alliance to allow users to access television through their mobile phones.

Its Sony, I am glad that they go over the edge with technology, but I do agree cellphone TV isnt appealing

Mobile TV

I have mobile tv on my phone and believe me it comes in handy more often than not. It is cutting edge technology. If you experience it just once you will not be able to pass it up.

I completely disagree with you. I tried it. Biggest waste of money I ever blew my money on. At least it was with Cingular. I don't know how other providers are, but Cingular blows chunks. If this is the best these companies can offer (choppy as hell video), it's never going to work.

TV on a 2" screen ........ hype it enough, every gullable person will gladly shell out the bucks for the latest greatest contraption.

I swear, humans no longer have the capacity to simply enjoy time without noise.
