Back in April Colorodo-based Wide Open West (WOW) announced they'd be paying $1.5 billion to acquire Knology, making WOW the country's thirteenth-largest pay-TV operator, with roughly 800,000 customers and 2.8 million homes passed across 13 states. Unsurprisingly, investors recently voted
overwhelmingly to approve the deal, and the deal simply now waits for regulatory approval -- which is expected to be granted. "From a customer standpoint, this will be pretty much invisible for a while," a Knology rep tells the
Montomery Advisor. "Its not that they're going to wake up and suddenly theyre dealing with a whole new company," says the representative.
