And using your reasoning, an ISP that offers a usenet server is "aiding thievery" as well.... as a matter of fact one could argue that a ISP that is even allowing access to thepiratebay.org is "aiding thievery".
Accusing people that use Firefox that they "support tools aiding thievery" is pretty silly. :P

| Re: Damn! If you want to CLONE credit cards, then you need to be able to read/write all 3 tracks. The one you listed only does track 2. Here's a link to software and instructions on how to copy a debit card/credit card for real. Of course, the server who is stealing you card is just going to write down the number, and the CCV code, then lookup your address so they can order online. High level crooks will use the 3 track reader/writer to just copy the info. Ever wonder why registers make the cashier enter the last 4 digits? It's because it's VERY easy to clone a card. Unless you print up over 4000 different credit cards (note: There are only about 4000 valid 'last 4 digits', not the 10,000 you would think, the entry of the last 4 digits will stop them. Not to say they couldn't swipe the card themselves (aka 7-11 kind of thing), but if you go to any retail store, the cashier will need to enter the last 4 digits.
How do I know all this? Because it happened to me, when a crooked server at a restaurant 'cloned' my card. Luckily, I only use 1 card for food and gas, so as soon as I got my bill, I realized it had been cloned.

@itasoftware.com | Intellectual property crimes probably do not feel like thievery. I imagine that violating copyrights feels like picking up items from the side of the road, not like shoplifting. Maybe scavenging.

| Re: Nice... I looked at the code. It isn't malicious, but it is overly complicated for what it actually does. It basically implements a very dumbed down version of Greasemonkey and then runs itself as a script in the page examining all web traffic on Amazon's site and replacing images with links to the Pirate Bay.
There's much simpler ways of doing what it does. --
