| Nothing yet... I checked my speeds Sunday but didn't see any increase in upload. Maybe a power cycle of the modem and router this evening will fix that. It will sure be nice to see the premier speeds when I move in about a month and get upgraded for going with the triple play. Update: I rebooted my modem and router and was upgraded to the new preferred speeds. Most speed tests were in the 12-15 down range while my upload saw the best benefit going from 550 previously now up to 1500-2200. | |

So, hang in there. You may just be in part 2. It won't hurt to reboot your modem and see. You never know! -- Great success! High five! | |

| If you get upgraded make sure you unplug your cable modem and wait 5 minutes and plug it back in. Cox will send you the new config file for the modem so you can get the new speeds. Thats what I had to do when cox upgraded RI a 2 years ago. My friend told me about it and when I got home unplugged the cable modem and plugged it back in and bingo the new speeds were there. | |

| Re: I'll take it and they keep jacking up the price.. whata shock.... i just have standard service and hsi.... when the new rates go into effect it going to be over 100/month..... this is nutz when i started cox his my plan was 29.99 mon and in 12 years it nearly doubled almost... and for what faster speeds? idk.... 3mb/256k up is pleanty for a soho w/4 pc's and a xbox 360... like who cares for faster speeds, except for you torrent freaks.. lower prices is where they should focus on.. out here theirs no competition so cox can just jack up the price w/o and reason.. they gave an excuse of rising infestructure costs? thats one hell of a bs excuse... crap like that just pushed me to dsl and dtv
