| Its not really Earthlink, its "city-wide" wifi that sucks. 802.11x was never meant for this type of deployment, and it will consistently fail when used in anything resembling an urban environment for commercial use. -- Весна прибыла | |

WiMAX won't cover an entire city with a single tower (see Clearwire's availability, even in small cities) but it helps to reduce the number of towers needed. | |

WiMax is not, and never will be the way they had originally designed or rather hoped it would be.
its not ratified, and god only knows when it will be. atleast here in the usa. | |
