1 edit | capped "Includes 5 GB of 3G wireless data usage. Additional usage at $0.10/MB. "
That is listed on the national plan. I did not see anything on the metro plan.
Edit: From TOS
"If you exceed your allotted Monthly Data Amount, Comcast may automatically charge you, and you agree to pay, an additional service usage fee ("Overage Charge")."
Still did not see how much one is "allotted".

Despite that I'm not sure why they are offering these in large metro areas where people obviously actually have choices for broadband and said choices are better. It seems the type of customers that would go for this type of product are those that live in areas without broadband. That being said, come on Comcast you have 250 GB cap for your cable internet service then you have this 5 GB cap for this? That's a fucking joke.

| Glad to hear it! Come on roll some more out in heavily populated area's that already have how many different options for broadband? God forbid you use the technology to bring some decent internet out to the less populated area's where it's dial up, evdo or satellite.
I know, we country folk don't need dat darr fast internets.

1 edit | $30 a month for an already comcast customer I'm from Philly and called CS to ask for for specifics. CS told me that since I was already a Comcast customer (already have wired broadband with them) I could get the service for $30 a month. I asked him if it was a teaser rate and he said no. He did say that if I agreed to a one year contract, they would waive the one time $99 "activation fee". Either way he said it would still be $30 a month and average speeds would be between 3 and 6 Megs down. Unfortunatelly, they arent offering a USB modem at this time, just card.
