All things Macintosh forum recently discovered a vulnerability at the
MacWorld website that allowed you to plug in any e-mail address and obtain subscriber account information (even of say,
Steve Jobs or the
President of MacWorld). Some interesting posters stop by
this thread to comment, including
Leo Laporte (of TechTV fame), and MacWorld editor
Jason Snell. The flaw,
now fixed, was thanks to a company named CDS, who provide circulation and list-management services for numerous magazines.
