BATON ROUGE, La. -- An inmate who escaped from the East Baton Rouge Parish prison remained at large Sunday.
Authorities said 21-year-old Willie Francois had been assigned to work as a kitchen trustee, and escaped Saturday afternoon.
Francois, who goes by the name Jessie, was booked into jail last month with unauthorized use of a vehicle, switching license plates, and resisting an officer.
