Video downloads via the Xbox 360 surprised some analysts by
being more popular than most other legit film download services, though piracy remains the
most popular broadband film viewing option. Apple would certainly like a slice of what's soon to be an exploding market; Apple's
iTV bridge being their connecting piece that lets users transfer TV and film content purchased via iTunes to the living room (assuming you haven't figured out
other solutions). While the promised launch date was early this year, the device
won't be making its debut at Macworld Expo. Reports indicate the company is making final tweaks to the $299 device and will ship it in late January or early February under a different brand name.
