A no show at the Macworld Expo...

Video downloads via the Xbox 360 surprised some analysts by being more popular than most other legit film download services, though piracy remains the most popular broadband film viewing option. Apple would certainly like a slice of what's soon to be an exploding market; Apple's iTV bridge being their connecting piece that lets users transfer TV and film content purchased via iTunes to the living room (assuming you haven't figured out other solutions). While the promised launch date was early this year, the device won't be making its debut at Macworld Expo. Reports indicate the company is making final tweaks to the $299 device and will ship it in late January or early February under a different brand name.

Somehow

I doubt this apple may not release it that day but I'm sure that they'll atleast give us another preview and show us info about it.

I'm with you - I'm betting we'll get at least the expected "new" name and even perhaps a more solid release date beyond "early this year".

Don't think you need a Mac to use the iTV (or whatever it will be called).

Could you also do a little shout out like that to D-Link, Netgear, Linksys and anyone else with a media bridge? They probably feel lonely now.

Re: Don't Care.

Prolly a Mac wannabee...just too scared to ditch the safety and comfort of countless nights deleting ad and spyware and doing registry tweaks and XP patches

with a Mac he'd have to do some real work instead..............
