| Maybe it would but who cares. Most netbooks are taking market share away from higher margin machines from the same companies and are cutting into the overall revenue. Apple is not interested in selling things barely above cost just to get market share like other companies are willing to do. | |

2 edits | Re: I already have an netbook running OS X ... As do I, plus it has a `10inch screen, 1.66ghz atom, 2 gigs of ram, and a 160gig hard drive..... In addition, I get 6 hours battery life in OSX & 9 in windows.
It compliments my MacPro and MacBook pro rather nicely when i want to carry around something protable (under 500 dollars) and dont want worry about breaking it | |

| I have an original iPhone 2G, 2 years old, which still works perfectly fine on the original battery. In fact, it gets better battery life today than it did when I bought it thanks to software updates that have improved power savings features. Pretty good for a non-removable battery I'd say. | |
