NEPTUNE, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- State police and recovery crews are back in shallow waters off Monmouth County, searching for debris and human remains the morning after a small plane crash.
State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones said authorities weren't sure how many people were aboard the plane, or even the type of plane or where it was from.

State police alone had dozens of people investigating the crash, which took place at about 7 p.m. Saturday near Shark River Island.
