All kidding aside, I always found the Sealand story to be an interesting one. It took a brass set to do what this guy did, and stick with it all these years. It shows a pioneering spirit that has been lacking since the mid 20th century.
Not only that, that old platform and it's inter-workings are cool from an urban spelunking standpoint...

| Wow this is so 90's I remember when Wired magazine had a piece on Sealand a long time ago. Talk about bringing back the dead. Sealand was pretty much going to print money when it all was said and done. Too bad, it seemed like an interesting idea.
