Company starts digging the wrong man's yard

On the heels of the recent and tragic house explosion comes this tale (via Techdirt) of a DirecTV customer who didn't order cable - trying to convince Comcast contractors they were digging up the wrong guy's yard. The installers apparently never bothered to call to check with any homeowner, nor did they notice that there was already a cable line run to the house in question. Stranger is that the work order was in the name of the first owner of the house, who had long moved out.
