This is such ridiculous nonsense, I cannot believe people are even putting this out there. EMI is everywhere, it's called natural background radiation, why do you think you hear static, lady, when you turn to some random frequency? Go sue your neighbors, they've got Wi-Fi too. Pfft...

High intensity might make you hot, but the "color" (frequency) determines the energy. All radio waves are in the far, far, far, infared. Going up in energy, you then have infared, visible light (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet), ultraviolet, x-rays, gamma rays...
You have to get into the UV to even get a sunburn.

There should be studies on this, a lot more. If it proves them wrong then fine, if it finds something then maybe save a whole generation.
Some people may simply be more sensitive to these things.
I have actually got a headache when working around really high power radio equipment (I thought the transmitter was off). The person I was working with also got a headache, until we figured out the transmitter was on and we shut it off. Our headaches went away...hmmm.
Could be BS, may not be. Remember all the research when cell phones came out? The research actually DID PROVE analog cell phones cause cancer and other problems. It was also found that digital signals did not. (I cannot remember the theory why but analog is more of a constant wave when digital is more of a pulse, on/off and did not manipulate the cells/agitate the cells)

| Radiation by any other name is still radiation!
Different cells react differently. You have an allergy to pollen? I don't. But I'm allergic to latex. Are you?
I can hear certain frequencies that might make a woman scream in pain, yet I can't hear the one of my watch's 2nd hand. Does that make me crazy? No. Irrational? No.
But cell tissues DO react to prolonged exposure to radiation. Whether from cellphones, radios, EMF/EMR, paging, microwaves... just how much and how long isn't understood.
Anyway, there are tin hats, tin-plated mesh and other metal fabrics that can protect you (and your schoolkids) if you are that concerned. You can even radhard your home. However, don't expect to receive any signals inside.
Just remember that WiFi is responsible for global warming...radiating the atmosphere!

Does that make me crazy? No. Irrational? No. Yes, but that's totally different than what this lady is claiming. She claims that specifically wifi affects her health. Please note that there are myriad other devices that operate on the same frequency as wifi, but according to her they don't effect her. So her argument seems to be 2.4GHz signal carrying IP packets = bad, but 2.4GHz signal carrying a phone call or anything else = no problem. Seems a little fishy, doesn't it? Now if she was claiming that any wireless signal in the 2.4GHz spectrum caused her problems I'd be a little more open-minded about this.
She also claims that she can immediately tell if wifi is available in a location because of it's effects on her. I suppose then that she can differentiate between the feeling of wifi in the air and the feeling of a 2.4GHz baby monitor signal in the air, right?

| Well, what a novel idea ...Gee, testing? Really? What a notion!
Of course there can be effects. OTOH, most electronics aren't meant to affect most people, but that doesn't mean that some people don't still feel something.
I'd like to see more study myself. After all, wouldn't it be stupid to look back 20+ yrs. from now and say, "those idiots, what were they thinking when they covered entire cities with this stuff?"
Sure, most signals being broadcast today are considered "safe" by many different, independent, measures, I don't think anybody would be having children otherwise All I'm saying is that some things may have other effects which haven't been fully studied yet; we could all benefit from more knowledge of the subject. ...And I'd do my part by continuing to surf wirelessly on my couch of course
Anyway, thought this was kind of interesting ..From an article I found after a minute or two with good ol' google...
"McCally et al.22 reported damage to corneal epithelium in Cynomolgus monkeys after 2.45 GHz irradiation for 6everal hours at only 20-30 mW/cm2 (CW) or even 10-15 mW/cm2 with pulsed fields. Therefore, the results of Paz23 strongly suggests that the potential for eye injury exists in surgery where EMF fields are present."
