| Re: Phisherman gets hooked ALL RIGHT!!!!! I am a member of one of the Mercury Cougar chat groups. There are so many phishing schemes trying to rip off people with vintage Mustangs, Cougars, and other muscle cars it has made in all but impossible to market such cars on Ebay. Almost every time one of the Cougar crowd tries to sell a car on Ebay a phisher would start his own listing with the same car, at the same time or later. Ebay will remove it but that takes time and in the meantime the rip is on going. This is the reason why I will NEVER!!!!! deal through Ebay.
I have a '78 Cougar XR7, which, while not a muscle car cougar mine is like an overstuffed chair powered by a 351 Windsor V8, and for such a large ghetto glider it get fairly good gas mileage, and no car payments, ahhh -- The older I get the more I prefer the company of my dogs over that of man kind. | |

| Similar happening to me I am bidding on an instrument on ebay when this one japanese guy came on and out bid everyone and jacked up the price on the item. He had a negative 1 feedback. After doing a little digging I contacted both the seller and ebay saying what I found. Ebay said their hands are tied but the seller took out all his bids and thanked me for protecting him against fradulant bidders. | |
