3 edits | Interesting Instead of fighting in court AT&T is going to join in. I wonder what the other telco's are going to think of this.
I can see other areas such as in Wyoming where you have small communities, Burns, Hillsdale, Albin, Eggbert, etc with each have small populations but are geographically close together so a Wifi system would be a good choice. Unfortunately this is in Qwest, we sue you, land so the chance of anyone coming in to do this are slim-to-none. | |

Valencia, CA | Its all business... Like all business - fight off competition (especially one that would directly erode your bottom line). In this case, the only way to fight off competition was to join in on the Muni WiFi, and still keep the market business. The main difference is that AT&T won't be dictating the Muni WiFi, but providing service for it. | |
