New Class Action for $20 billion

Verizon has been sued for allegedly handing over customer information to the NSA without a court order. The class action lawsuit seeks $20 billion in damages for alleged violations of customer privacy by a warrantless government wiretapping program. Several weeks ago the EFF filed suit against AT&T, claiming the telco was also doling out customer information (phone records, e-mail exchanges) without a court order.
