Nerd TV Interview: Andy Hertzfeld (old news - 11:10AM Wednesday Sep 07 2005) tags: Video
Bob Cringely's (from PBS) pet project Nerd TV has just released its first episode, which features an interview with the original Macintosh programmer Andy Hertzfeld, who waxes poetic on open source software. Cringely dubs the program "Charlie Rose for geeks". Broadband is slowly but surely ushering a new age of amateur video content; DigitalLife TV being another such example. Podcasts are so retro.

Servers at pbs.org overloaded??
I am downloading the 1st episode and it is only coming down at about 50 kbps on a 6000 kbps link. An interesting concept, but if they can't feed the mp4 file faster than that, not many are going to download his TV show.
www.thebroken.org Sure nothing new in a while, but it was an internet only show before podcasting was a word. I am sure their are many more out there that predates NerdTV.
