I guess they or someone will release a decent internet suite on it sooner or later. Perhaps one that can be stored on the memory stick instead of a UMD.

Well it's a no-brainer why it has a memory stick. But it's not like they can honestly believe it won't be hacked. uhm hey kid, get an appreciation in technology. miniaturization is the most expensive aspect of the computer industry, and even if you don't have the cognitive capacity to appreciate this new technology, its products like this that are the forerunners to the future products like the one you described. and $250? not that much. $50k for a Hummer 2? a $150k salary out of my tax dollars a month for ex-senators(for the rest of their life)... now that's a lot. Xbox is okay, but every system has their faults. the PSP is just now emerging and that's what everyone needs to remember; i think hackers will make a web browser and more regardless of wether or not Sony or any other company releases one. naive

Also paying $49 a game for that is a major rip off.
Now if you can waste $250 because you think it's something worth showing off you...
...should send me some money

Hand helds just arent for me, I'd play my Xbox on my 27" HDTV.

I only use my handhelds on long car/plane trips, and where i can benefit from having the thing able to fit in my pocket.
Some people just buy them to play them at home; I dont really understand the point behind that.

Being that I am 25 and disabled , the state doesnt pay me much to live off of , but I can save a little money here and there and theres always relatives who dissapoint you by buying you clothes instead of what you want LOL

| psp web browser HA you lot are so gullable, if any of u payed more than jast alil bit of attention to those pic's of the sopposedly web browser, you would have notaced 3 things that give it awaya that they are just photo shop edited pics.
1. the heading off pspe web browser is in diffrent font style and in a diffrent colour.
2. A questionmark for an application sony would have come up with some swanky logo.
3. and the image of the person browsing the sony web site is all out of shape and the images have been squashed if sony had a psp browser it would resize images ( that psp looks a bit squat lol )
the only way to drows on the psp is to sent your primary DNS settings on ur wireless lan network setting to an external web page either one you have created or set it to 67.171.70.72
OR follow my guide by -=silent=-
1. Goto Settings ---> Network Settings ---> Infrastructure Mode ---> New Connection (you want to make a new connection so you can still use your default connection for regulare game use).
2. Create a new connection and after you've set the SSID and WEP (if you use it) in Address Settings goto Custom --->Manual.
Now set your IP address for your PSP to auromatic. Leave the Subnet mask 255.255.255.0. Set the Default Router to your router's IP address (I have a Linksys and mine 192.168.1.1, check your manual). Set the Primary DNS to 67.171.70.72 (this is what will let you get onling browsing).
3. Set Proxy Server as Do Not Use if you are not using one.
4. Confirm the setting list and Save the settings.
5. Put in Wipeout Pure and go to the Downloads section. When it asks what connection to use select the connection you just set up and viola, your online!
You can navigate the pages using the D-pad and select links with the X button. You can also enter text into text boxes by highlighting the box and pressing X. Square = refresh, shoulder buttons go back/forward through the pages.
