Actually, Karl, you're proving my point. First, nobody who's checking it out will immediately think to use the search term "scam" -- rather they'll just type the product name.
Further, Google lists your older article highly for »www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&···G=Search precisely because you usd "boost" in the text. Note how DSLR does NOT show up on the first page of Google hits fr "juice boostED" at »www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&···G=Search
So my humble suggestion (to incorporate at least "boost" in the text) still stands.

| | Maybe they are looking for bank info My theory as to what this might be:
When you sign up to be an affiliate, they ask how you would like to be paid. The last two options are safe (paypal and mail) but the first is direct deposit and wants bank account details. This is where they are clever. Anyone with a clue knows never to give out bank information, so most won't, but there are bound to be some fools who give complete bank information to get their direct deposit. If Juice gets 100,000 subscribers (hypothetical) and 5% choose direct deposit, that is 5,000 bank accounts. Because bank info is not required, it doesn't leap out as the reason for the company.
Just my theory, I'm sure the true purpose will be revealed in time.

| | | I take exception to your comments about Quixtar. Never has been a scam. Income is made by people buying product. Most of those who I know who earn the big money work hard at it. Sorry about that. This Juice thing does have some legitimate concerns. They say they don't go for spam, but how do they expect people to market it? You can't market Quixtar by spamming people. If you are caught, you WILL lose your registration. And your downline will do what you do. They are good learners. | |

Well, thought I might bring this to someone's attention in this thread...but on the "ads by Google" section, there are offerings now FOR this exact Juice service.
Does BBR have any control over what ads Google sends them? I mean...it's kinda wierd to have a scam ad IN the same anti-scam thread!

My point is I never purchased something to get rid of the ads and never will. Nobody is going to make me do it.

EXCUSE me? I just happened upon this forum and thread tonight (actually, I got an email from another webmaster letting me know it is here) and have enjoyed the information I have found here.
But I must take offense at this blatantly generalized mis-categorization of an ethical and hard-wroking group of Internet marketers who are 'affiliates'. Granted, I understand you intend this remark to be directed specifically toward JUICE affiliates, but you did not so state. There are a LOT of legitimate companies out there willing to pay for referring customers to them and which also pay and pay on time.

| Re: Idiots No actually I did generalize it. I hate marketing in any form, also I hate people that are spreading it and yes those people include affiliates of any kind.
There are so many sites online that exist because people are naive or stupid and help spammers, scammers and 'legit' marketing people (they are all the same to me).

| | | Re: go catcha them igf they... Because the police won't do squat fool... don't ya think that many peeps have brought legalities into stuff like this in the past?? It's very rare it gets anywhere... the authorities aren't interested as it costs them far too much to do anything about it. The only thing people can do is raise the general public's awareness of such scams. Hence the need for threads such as this. Engage yer brain...

I am new to this site, but would think many of the Internet wizards and Telecommunications guru's here, have a pretty good handle on when they see a "Turd Merchant".
Turd Merchants come in many flavors. There are Politicians, Televanglists, Snake Oil Doctors, and now Internet Service Providers.
Yes, we all would like to believe we are "worthy" and deserve getting something for nothing. Remember, even God requires something for your salvation. The Devil is always in the details.

| | I hate these damn threads This is really pointless. Why would anyone sign up to be an affiliate to something that does not yet exist???
I've put my name down for the Juice Boosted free access using a SPAM e-mail account (just to see what it really is), also I entered my e-mail at and internet cafe so they didn't record my ip address. So, I'll see what happens.
Whatever happens there is NO WAY I would enter into an affiliate scheme of something like this.
