About BCINet ..

BCINET offers High Speed Internet Access solutions from its Points of Presence (POPs) in the Midwest. Our access solutions range from the needs of small business customers to ultra high capacity dedicated access solutions for large commercial customers and the most demanding Internet applications.

Speed, Quality and Reliability
BCINET's core network has been designed for reliable, high-speed, efficient routing and low latency. We currently support an Internet access Point of Presence (POP) in Sylvan Lake, MI with additional POPs planned for Grand Rapids, Chicago and Cleveland during 2000. Nationwide Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) connectivity is made possible via our strategic alliance with RHYTHMS Netconnections, Inc.

Each POP is located in a secured facility or computer room that has 24 hours X 7 days secured access. Each POP also has high performance Cisco routers with multiple redundant Linux-based servers on high speed ethernet switches. Bandwidth size is currently 45 MB and backbone connections include a 45 MB DS3 connection to Level3 and a 45 MB DS3/ATM Connection to Rhythms. An additional 45 MB of capacity (via AT&T) is currently scheduled for deployment in Q3 2000. An Uninterruptible Power Supply, backup generators, and dual entrance fiber/copper facilities back up each facility when available.
