12:30 about and MSNBC is up in VHO7 in cablevision territories. Previously MSNBC was blocked from these areas except for Olympics coverage. There is no guide data though the channel is live. Is this permanent or temporary? Could the exclusive contract ended?

[DVR] Is there anyway to retrieve a deleted Program?

I'm extremely disappointed. A 3 Hour special of One of my favorite shows was supposed to be recorded yesterday. I was so happy as I opened my DVR and all I see is 1 hour and 47 minutes of it recorded. How do I retrieve the other half of the deleted program? :( I'm trying to find another showing of the program but there's no luck. Verizon isn't airing another show :(

Very poor FiOS HDTV picture quality

So i recently have FiOS installed a couple of weeks ago in my home (Long Island, NY) And the HDTV picture quality has been pretty poor. It looks very compressed with siginficant pixelation (especially when there is fast movement on the screen like sports) It honestly looks subpar to what I had on cable. I told verizon about this and I have had 2 tech appointments. They changed the main coax splitter coming into my home and these also changed the coax ends coming into each of my tv outlets. The ONT was also replaced, still none of things helped. The techs stated that wiring in my home is in very good condition and the signals coming to the outlets are very good as well. I know this is not an issue with the TV because on a blu-ray source it looks gorgeous and no pixelation at all. Seems to me that verizon compresses the TV signal in my area. Its pretty frustrating. I wanted to know if anyone else who has FioS HDTV experiences the same problems as I do. What should I do?

[DVR] Fios splitting question

Hello, I have FIOS split to 7 tv's in my house. I just renovated a room into a home office and would like to put FIOS in there too. I do not need another box, though. This new room is adjacent to another room with FIOS already installed, so I would like to split off that connection. I realize that I would have to watch the same thing on both tv's, but that's ok. What type of splitter should I get? THanks

[DVR] Problem watching sports event

I am having a problem watching sports events which are still recording. If I pause the games for an extended amount of time, (kids, phone...) the recording will stop playback and show the game live, which i don't want since it would obviously show me the live score.
I'm not sure if it's only when two shows are recording, and it must stay on the channel recording, but I can't seem to figure out how to avoid this problem.
It must be an issue with all recorded shows, but when watching sporting events, it frustrates the heck out of me. And this is just one of the problems with the DVR. Scheduling a Buffalo Sabres game to record is a pain. Any advice on that would be appreciated.
I did try to search for this, and look at the FAQ, so sorry if it has been covered.
