Suspend account questions

Currently I have Fios TV and internet. I would like to put my tv in a suspended account, but keep internet. Coupole of questions:
1) Can I suspend 1 service, but not the other?
2) How long can you suspend a service? and
3) If I have to cancel tv, but not internet, any idea what the ETF might be?

THanks!

Anyone with FIOS in 08807 give me advice?

I am currently a Cablevision triple play customer and I have had it with the constant outages and poor performance. I have had the techs out to my house at least 15 times the past two years and they can not fix my issues.

I am at the end of my rope and I am seriously considering switching to FIOS for all 3 services. Can anyone tell me about FIOS service and reliability in 08807? How about the price after the contract expires? I've heard nightmares about pricing.

I'm in the North of 22 section right near Martinsville.

Vacation Status Caution

Be aware that if you put your FIOS account on vacation status, any freebies or specials you currently have will go away. Including your "free" digital adapters. They will now charge you for them. I pointed out that they were supposed to be free as long as I was a FIOS customer and they stated that since I put my account on vacation that that special no longer applies.

Red Zone HD PQ Decrease (Again)

Looks like the picture quality of the Red Zone channel took a hit again this week.

It had been great since Week 3 when we raised hell...but today, it is noticeably softer.

settings keep reverting to default

My hardware set up is as follows: HD DVR box >HDMI cable > AV Receiver > HDMI cable > Panasonic Plasma. Sound is only played thru receiver, speakers on TV are deactivated.

I have found that in order for the HD DVR box to send a 5.1 digital signal to the receiver, I must go into one of the menus on the box, accessed by power, select, menu. In this menu is an additional HDMI settings page, with an audio output setting which must be changed from AUTO to PASS THROUGH . Several times a week, this setting is defaulted back to AUTO, which kills my digital surround output from the box. By the way, it also changes the 4:3 override from OFF back to 480p at the same time. This one is not such a hassle to change back because it can be accessed thru one of the main menus on the box.

Does anybody out there know why this happens so frequently, and is there a way to prevent it. I can understand this occasionally happening when major software changes are implemented, but several times a week? It is a royal pain in the neck.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts
