My attempt for rural evdo please help

Hello I live on Riverwood lane Oakland OR 97462. Im trying to get a decent evdo connection in my home and from the hearsay ive gone with verizon and have the usb760. With the modem connected to my desktop alone, I can only get national roaming (-120 - -115) and only in one inconvenient part of the house. After I got an extension cable and rigged up a hokey aluminum light cover for a dish, I got the same coverage all over the house and in the sweetest spots i got even -100. Local shops are saying it might not be worth even trying an amp and external antenna but with my hokey setup i got a definite improvement. Does anyone have any light to shed on my situation?

[ Equipment] Need help and fast please.

Well i have recently gotton the Verizon mobile internet. Like many stories because I'm in the middle of no where I can't get anything (Yes I have checked EVERYTHING available). This is my last resort and so far everything is going very badly. I started with getting the little black usb connecter 720 I think. Well I also order a 20$ antenna. Well I hooked it up with out the antenna because I had to wait for the antenna to come in. I got not even a bar but a signal that was a little faster then my Wildblue lag wise.

On WoW I had 800-1000 ms as opposed to my 1500-2000 usal. Well the antenna came and it had no adapter to hook it up with. Well I went to the store and I figured while I had to order the adapter for the antenna I might as well fork out and get the more expensive usb thinking it might be better and order the adapter as well.

I got it today hooked it all up. I can no longer get any kind of connection. So not only does the antenna not work the new usb is worse. I don't have much longer before my 30 days are over and i'm stuck in the contract. I looked at my coverage and I have advance services and about 3-5 miles from 3g coverage in a few directions. So please if you guys can help me out. Let me know if you think if I were to fork out for whatever antenna you guys recommend (can't be a very expensive one either) if it would make it so I could play Xbox live and on PSN and WoW with close to 150 that of cable. ORRRRR if it's just hopeless and no way to get it to work. I need to know quickly as well. Thanks everyone ^.^

Verizon website really slow?

For the past several days, I've been trying to log into the Verizon Wireless website to pay my bill, but only the login page seems to work. After logging in, the next page starts to load, I can see the Verizon logo and menu bar across the top, but the rest of the page never loads. Is anyone else seeing this?

I figure it has something to do with the Droid announcement and subsequent website traffic.

[ Equipment] External Antenna for cell phone signal

My home internet access is a chimney mounted yagi antenna for reception to a Sprint aircard in a Linksys router. I can't get a cell tower signal w/ out it.
Can I use the same antenna and cabling (w/ a splitter) to access a signal to a Verizon phone. What type of device would I need? amplifier? access point? repeater?

Thanks,
Barry
