[XPPro] Acronis changed drive size?

I tried to clone a 60GB SATA drive to a 250GB SATA drive using Acronis. It says it worked ok, but now the 250GB is recognized by BIOS (and Windows and Western Digital Tools) as being 60GB!!

What can I do to completely wipe and reinitialize my WD 250GB drive?

Best Driver Search Software?

A friend is trying to fix some issues with his computer that I suspect are driver related, but due to time constraints (and distances between us), I don't really have the time to help him too thoroughly. He's not an idiot but his experience with Windows is somewhat limited and I cringe at the idea of him trying to track down and install all the drivers for his Dell notebook (he no longer has the install disk that came with it).

I've done light research into driver search software but it seems that most of the real world reviews by users hate everything out there.

Can anyone recommend some such software that they've personally used and found to be, you know, useful? :)

Pay software is fine, free is better... :D

[Update] Recuva v.1.33.451 Released

When you use Recuva, you have the choice of two types of scans: a regular scan, which will find most recently-deleted files, and a deep scan that can really scour your hard drives, but takes a lot longer.

In v1.33 of Recuva, we've worked on increasing the speed of the deep scan, and we're happy to report that it runs up to 25% faster than previous versions. If you can't recover your files using the standard scan, you can now run the deep scan in much less time.

Whats New:
• Added support for non-standard sector size in Windows 7.
• 25% improvement in deep scan speed.
• Fixed bug when multi-selecting items in thumbnail view.
• Fixed repaint problem with thumbnail view.
• Fixed problem with file list view not display icons correctly.
• Added translator information to About Screen.
• Added Georgian translation.
