[Need Info] Looking for backup software...

I'm looking for backup software that is image based so I can do a full system restore if my install went south, and I know people love Acronis... however, I'm also interested in knowing if it can:

1. Perform incremental backup, so at the end of the week I can make the image the same as my current setup, w/out having to reimage the entire drive.
2. Can I pull data out of the image if need be (i.e. go and find that word document that I lost...)

Of course, if there is other backup software that fits the bill, I'd be interested in hearing about it, especially if there are any free solutions. That software should also have the capability of being able to start from a boot-disc, but I would assume all imaging software must do that.

After my most recent disaster, I'm tired of starting over and reinstalling everything. Granted, my data was safe, but still, it's really annoying and a gross waste of time!

[Need Info] 32 bit applications in a 64 bit environment

How good do 32 bit applications perform in a 64 bit system? The system in particular is XP Pro.

(1) Is there a lot of 64 bit software out there?

(2) If the software isn't designed for 64 bit what will happen?

[Help] AIM 7 file transfer

I've been using AIM for quite some time now. I upgraded to AIM 7 a while back and I've taken a liking to it. There's only one little problem I have with it though. The file transfers won't resume if it is stopped midway. In older versions of AIM it would resume where the file had stopped, but now AIM will ask:
the file "C:\name.ext" already exists in this folder. do you want to replace it with the file you are receiving?
Replace or Cancel

I've googled, I've searched around and can't seem to find anywhere I could get help with this. Does anyone have any clue how I could fix this? Or is there any other program that will allow me to resume file transfers if they are interrupted? My friend uses iChat while I just use AIM 7 on my PC. Not sure if that helps.

[Bug] Opera 10.01 bug when trying to go back on pages

So I've been experiencing an issue when I try to go back on some pages. I'll click on the back button and nothing happens. If I click on it repeatedly however, it eventually registers the click and goes back.

It sometimes happens when I use the mouse gestures to go back too. Is anyone else experiencing this issue at times? It doesnt always happen but it's happened enough to me that it's noticeable.
