Corrupt upload, or could not process any images

I've been trying to upload photos to the Digital Imaging gallery for some time today. Every attempt fails, with the following message being displayed:

"Corrupt upload, or could not process any images"

This occurs with any photo I try using.

Having never seen this before, I have no idea what the problem may be.

I searched the archives for previous topics about this problem and found one instance, but the person who started the topic reported when uploading was tried again it worked fine. That has not been the case for me.

Can't view posts in restricted forum

I made some posts last year in the Verizon Direct forum but now I can't view them. Direct history only goes back 180 days, and when I search for my user name I get 2 pages of greyed out posts declaring "Access denied". This happens when I'm logged in to the site.

Is anyone maintaining the DSLR notifier addon?

I'm curious as to who is maintaining the DSLR Notifier Firefox addon. The home page lists www.dslreports.com. The homepage in the addon is blank and appears to be abandoned.

I've fixed a number of bugs with the current 1.2 version and would like to get in touch with the author/maintainer.

Bugs fixed:

1. Clicking alert slider opens DSL Reports page. Previously it generated an error in the error console.
2. When polling window is closed, another window now takes over. Previously the old window would keep trying to poll which not only failed to work, but resulted in a memory leak.
3. Bypasses cache so polling results will be up to date (helps with proxies that cache).
4. Bumped up version number to install in Firefox 3.0
5. Fixed a few more memory leaks reported by Leak Monitor extension.
6. Fixed issue where if user quit Firefox using File->Exit or browser crashed, the extension wouldn't check when Firefox was started next time.
7. Fixed issue where slider, popup and sound alerts might trigger only once per browser session.
8. Fixed so that changing the "Show icon set on all/single window" and "update interval" preferences takes effect immediately instead of on browser restart.
9. Cleaned up code a bit so there's not as much needless processing going on.

Who ever is in charge, feel free to use the changes (dslrOverlay.js, overlay.xul, overlay-moz.xul, reportstatus.js (defaults), install.js and install.rdf).

Ordered lists not displaying correctly?

When trying to create an ordered list I only get an unordered list with additional indentation. Please see attached. How can I create an ordered list?

I also tried creating a basic HTML document with an ordered list and it worked as expected, in both Firefox 3 and Internet Explorer 7.

This FAQ demonstrates what I am seeing (screen shot): http://www.dslreports.com/faq/faqowner/45._Bulleted_Lists

Are others seeing this as well?

Thanks.

Edit: A thread was pointed out to me by another member (thanks!) which indicates that only li tags are supported. Why was this done? Here is the thread http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r20568408-Lists-not-working-the-way-they-used-to

cant get security to come on

Every since Thursday or Friday of last week June 26-27, I've not been able to get onto Verizon. Does this mean that I don't have security?

What is wrong?

I'll be leaving @ 8 AM to report for Jury duty, but hope to be back this afternoon.

Auto-following forums -- how to restart after absence?

I'm not sure whether this is simply a question or a bug report, but thought I'd post it here for starters, giving the site the benefit of the doubt.

I've been away from the site for a few months, and when I now go to my "followed threads" page, it's empty and says that nothing has been updated since I've last seen it.

I know that threads that are automatically followed will eventually fall off the other end of the followed list if they're not opened within a specific amt of time, but shouldn't there be some threads still showing? In the actual forums the threads have the little yellow star that indicates they're being followed, but they're not showing up on the followed page.

So, if this is a feature, and once a person has been away for a certain amt of time their followed threads are removed from the list, how do I go about restarting that, since as far as the threads are concerned they're already being followed? And, if this is actually a bug, please move.

Thanks.

site tests allowing only 5 tests after I signed for premium

first post from a newb.
Not sure what the problem is.
I signed up for a premium membership, thinking I could test and debug my connection speed.
But still the site only allows me 5 tests per 24 hour period.

Can anyone clear this up for me?
Am I misunderstanding something? Or is the site gating me improperly?

Thanks for your help.
