agree all the way

i had gotten dsl service and was running for 14 vdays and then something went wrong because of a storm in the area. I contacted verizon to come and handle it, but ofcourse they didnt, well lets just say that 6 tickets, 2 hours of calls with them and a high BP and 16 days later no DSL cause they dont want to send someone out to fix it so i cancelled my service. All they had to do was to send out a technician to solve it and they didnt. They are terrible. I called comcast and they installed same day. So much for verizon huh..

I am soooooo ready to take the bridge over my Verizon issues and won't belabor the point that I, too have reached my wit's end with them. I was looking into Cavalier today but may have to bite the bullet and subscribe to Comcast. I don't want to pay their high price, but you are so right when you mention the blood pressure issues and loooonnng amounts of time to resolve issues with (broken-English)"tech support" when dealing with Verizon. It has been one headache after another with Verizon and although this is a site for Cavalier users, your input and that of others has helped with my decision. Thank you.
