| Re: LOL lol ya 8 hrs but he didnt wire the whole house, I did that for him and got it ready in the places that I wanted it. All he had to do was install the equipement for TV and Internet (which was only a router), and the box outside and the battery backup inside. I used to be an installer and there is no way that would have taken me 8 hrs to do. Especially if the cust already prewired everything. But like I said its FASSSSSSTTTTT!!!!. LOL so ya I recommend it to all cause once you get it you want nothing else. -- Programming today is a race between software engineersstriving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programsand the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. | Re: LOL Yeah this guy probably finished in no time but the hold up is not in the install itself but the support departments that they have to wait on to finish activation. When I got mine installed actual install finished at 3:00 PM, tech on phone to get issues resolved until 6:30 PM. Not trying to rag on you but I don't like it when someone who doesn't do the exact same job will complain that they can do it faster. Unless you are a Verizon Fiber Installer I don't see how you can boast that you could do it faster. What if this guy was new to the job, would you be able to do it faster as you claim if you only had weeks on the job?Do you really think this guy wants to be at your house for 8 hrs without lunch or the use of a restroom? Give the guy a break | |

| 6 Months Well its been six months now and I must say I am dispappointed in the way I have been treated on my billing. But after reading other users issues it doesn't surprise me. As an employee of Verizon we get special discounts on the services we use from the company. So far my billing has been off and I have been trying since day one to get the employee discount which they will not honor because now they say well its been 60 days and unfortunately its too late, even though I have been trying to get it resolved since the first month. Sad part is that I am not the only employee within my group who has similiar issues with the billing of FIOS. -- Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. | Re: 6 Months Update: 12/04/07
After almost 10 months of billing hell I have finally got my billing resolved. While it did take some time, well A very LONG time they did find the problem and corrected with no problems. Still the product is great, I was able to download the new Fedora 8 software and it took me all of 20 mins. This is a little over 3 gigs in 20 mins it was great. On the downside make sure your billing is correct the first time around as it may take some time to fix if there are issues. -- Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. @comcast.net | Customer Pricing
You mention that the price is $35. Is that the employee discount or general public pricing?
I would love Verizon FIOS to come out to Orlando, FL. | |
