WPA is available

You can select WPA over WEP. Under the "Wireless" section of the router configuration, click "Advanced Security Settings".

Remote for FIOS TV Set top Box

Regarding the remote page up and down button, you have to wait until Verizon updates the new Guide/Interface on your box. Here in MD, they have only recently (month or two ago) released the upgrade. Now the remote compliments the new Guide really well with the channel button corresponding to page up/down while in the guide. Hope this clarifies things.
