| OOL is not vetter than verizon i have tested verizon and OOL in the same house and fios beats it hands down if you want connectivity but if you want worse speeds and tech support then get ool but the speeds are not constant and you dont get 95% of the speed its more like 80% sometimes and 50% other times. it gets really bad sometimes and i even filed a complaint with the BBB about this so dont get OOL. | |

| I Love Optimum Online Well i am one of those nuts that constantly tests the connection and i have never had lower than 95% of advertised speed. Look i hate cablevision because they rip you off with television service but i need to give credit where credit is due. Verizon may be better but i have no way of testing in my neighborhood (Pelham Bay Bronx) Only regular verizon 3/768 service. I am telling you what i experience on OOL service. I have no stocks or financial interest. | |

| Re: I Love Optimum Online my friend lives in the bronx and he has problems just like everyone i know has problems with OOL. sometimes its good and sometimes its bad and it does this every week but for $45 a month its a good deal. i'm just saying verizon is better and more stable for everyone rather than some OOL nodes getting more users and getting slower speeds.
i'm also sorry to say i bet you dont always get that speed because everyone in the bronx doesnt get that from all the speed tests i looked at in the speedtest list so post some test to prove it. OOL SUCKS FOR CONSISTENT SPEEDS AND THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE THE SPEEDS THEY OFFER SO YOU CAN GET HALF OF THAT SPEED AND IT IS FINE WITH THEM CAUSE IT IS UP TO SPEEDS. | |

They probably won't rip out Cablevision. Our building was wired by RCN after Time Warner had already wired it. I'm assuming Verizon will also be allowed in the building if they ask. | |
