| Reply about FastAccess South Florida Just in case you were wondering, the service has been great for me too. In the beginning, there were growing pains. The quality is A++. You can actually get the full 3 megs now that they adjusted the speeds. The reason that Earthlink couldn't offer the service, was they were using a central office setup where the DSL equipment was 19k feet from your house. Bellsouth has remote units out near the house in most sititations, and you will most likely be about to get the 3 megs. See if you can run a sync test with your modem to find the attainable rate. If it is 3.5 megs or higher, then you can get the 3 meg service without a problem. The only thing that I noticed was my switch date at about 11:45pm, I lost sync, and could not connect for about 15 minutes, and in a day or so, the IP was changed to static (constant).
