| MUNCIE, IN Vonage thru Comcast. We called Comcast a lot when we first got the VoIP and they played a bit of dodge ball, but seem to have become consistent in their service now. The upload speed was the issue. We have Comcast Home Networking and have 384 up and 4000 down. Vonage, itself, is sensational and we stripped our land line of all features just to have the 911 due to health issues. For $25 plus Comcast (Internet only), we are paying much, much less than SBC plus long distance. We make frequent calls to Germany dirt cheap and the quality is as good, if not better than SBC. Bye-bye, Ma Bell! If you do not have Vonage, get it through Radio Shack - they have a return policy and the first month of Vonage was free. We went that route and could not be happier. VIVA VONAGE!!!!!!! |
