1 edit | Email FYI If you're on the old mail system and have not registered your "head of household" account, then I would highly recommend you do that. You get 25MB of space, the older-lower limits. Adelphia installed a new mail system some time ago, and need its customers to "register" their current email accounts there. If not they will ultimately be shut off. The new mail also gives you web access, and access to more information through the "power page".
www.adelphiapowerpage.com is where you go to "register" your head of house hold account. This "HOH" account, then allows you to register your wife's or other "sub" account - similar to how AOL works. The HOH account can add, delete or manage space. The initial setup asks you many questions, but once done, you can get the additional space and ensure your email does not get shut off in the future.
The page has lots of other information you may be looking for.
The TOTAL limit is 25MB per house, I.E. you can split yours and your wife's account to 13MB for one and 12MB for the other - or whatever floats your boat.
From the powerpage.... "Each HOH account has a total of 25 MB of storage space or quota to allocate between all email accounts. "
Hope that helps you out.

1 edit | Re: Email FYI Actually since May 1st everybody who had the 25MB mailbox now has a 70MB mailbox. Also the standard 5 email addresses per account is now 7 email addresses, but the maximum email size is still 10MB per message.
But like njellis said, to get it you have to register your account on AdelphiaPowerPage.com -- If you are looking for official Adelphia tech support, call 1-888-683-1000. | |
