It is accomplishment and not effort that count. This is what I see as Packet8s failure. I now have 2 years experience with Packet8. I did get your service working well. I was always able to make contact and found your people courteous. I never found anyone at P8 to have a sense of urgency, to follow through, to get the importance of accomplishment or to feel any disappointment at failure. I came to expect contact to be time consuming and take at least 2 attempts to complete any job.
I originally failed to get help by phone or email. I established P8 email contact by contacting P8Support. He got an engineer to contact me and we have exchanged email weekly. No results. Several phone reps refused help because I no longer had an account. When Packet8 assigned my number to a new Packet8 customer I was able to get a ticket opened. Since then I can get phone reps to follow the progress. I now have 2 ticket numbers. I understand several others share my problem and the second ticket reflects this. Once again, no results. I believe any competent engineer could resolve this problem in less time than Packet8 spends dealing with my persistent contacts. I am hopeful you are the man that can make this happen. I wanted you to know what you are up against and to appreciate how much this consistent failure affects customer perception of Packet8. I will post our success. |
