CONCLUSION
If all you are concerned with is download speed, this is your ISP. - GREAT DOWNLOAD SPEEDS
When the system is humming along the download speed and page loads are very fast which is nice. All in all I am not very happy with OOL. - CAN'T PLEASE EVERYBODY
I dont D/L tons of files and spend all kinds of time in front of my computer.
I would gladly trade some of the D/L speed for more stability especially with the Email. - PLENTY OF FREE EMAIL PROVIDERS OUT THERE
I cant express how unstable the email service really is.

| You verified the cap, right? You've verified that you've been capped via DocsDiag, right? I got those kinds of speeds at one point, but my modem wasn't capped (I never called; I verified this with docsdiag).
The cable modem had the proper status lights, but it was defective. Swapped the modem, 14mbps/1.8mbps behind my router.
Try the 1 month boost trial, and switch back if you don't want to pay extra. Boost is hard to get capped (according to forum members), and the capping might be removed when you downgrade back to 15/2. | |
