| comcast you are garbage same thing here man. i live in batavia, il. this "supposed" upgrade a month or so ago has resulted in higher pings for me in gaming servers and i'm getting alot of connection interrupts during games. i've scanned for spyware, have good hardware, etc. i'm sick of this BS and paying $60 isn't worth the headache. | |

| Re: comcast you are garbage have you tried using their online chat support to try to resolve your issue? i found it them to be much more helpful than their phone support. on top of that, i didnt have to wait for a CS rep to become available.
i did a speed upgrade to the gold package via the online chat. the rep was able to do it while online with me. after rebooting, i got the upgrade, but my download speeds were still 3 mb. hopped back into chat and talked to another tech - he took a look at my modem, sent it some commands, rebooted it. after that was done, i re ran my tests, and was averaging 6.39mb-6.55mb/722kb. all this in a span of a half hour.
i'm in st.charles, too, so that sucks that you're having issues out in batavia.
