| Yeah I agree Its way better than DSL 768/384 . I upgraded to the pro plan about 2 weeks ago. But to clarify the IP is not a static IP. It is supposed to be leased for 6 months, but they can change it at anytime. Also you get 5 IP's with the Pro plan. So work that out 5 IP's at 5 bucks a month normally is 25 bucks.
95 Bucks may seem steep to some of you guys, but I'm glad I got it. Online Gaming is fun agian -- "We have three sizes: Wee, Not so Wee, and Freakin Huge!"

Upgrading to Pro shouldn't reduce ping times at all...unless you're talking about easily connecting/hosting games with 5 IPs. I normally get pings in the 30's to 50's in good CS servers with occasional drops to the 20's with the normal Comcast Silver package. -- The world is full of idiots.

| Re: Yeah I agree Im not talking bout pings. I play MechWarrior 4 and to try and host that with over 8 people and the lag sucks with the 128 up. Now with the 384 up I can host the full 16 people that you can have. -- "We have three sizes: Wee, Not so Wee, and Freakin Huge!" | |

| Just Curious What makes you feel justified in asking for a credit for another NIC card? Did Comcast install your NIC originally? That would be the only logical reason I could possibly think of, but by you saying it had a lifetime warranty makes me think it was your own card. | |

| Re: Just Curious why the hell else would i ask for a credit? of course they installed it originally. obviously if their original card which i replaced, has a lifetime warranty, i would be due a credit. -- "so you say you want revolution?"-Lennon/McCartney | |

| Re: Just Curious you must be total idiot. if a business uses a piece of equipment that is warrantied for life, by either them or the manufacturer, then it gets replaced free regardless. man youre stupid. -- comcast "high speed" internet is a joke. just like their level one tech support. | |

| well duh well duh. the lifetime warranty was on the card from the manufacturer. suburban/comcast installed it. their card, lifetime warranty from manufacturer. they opted to refund the price i paid to replace their card, which is the only logical conclusion any intelligent person could come to. -- "so you say you want revolution?"-Lennon/McCartney | |
