| Re: one reason might be I have, but it did not do any good. Many people have told me a Toshiba would get around it, but i guess CT has its limitations. I thought at first it was my town. But then i found this site and realised it wasnt. Thanks for the info though. -- "It Seems a Whisper is Sometimes Louder Than a Scream" - Arkarna | |

| hmm Oh well at least you are getting what you pay for
2003-03-08 11:40:54 EST: 503 / 98 Your download speed : 503236 bps, or 503 kbps. A 61.4 KB/sec transfer rate. Your upload speed : 98087 bps, or 98 kbps.
I live in naugatuck, CT and thats all i can get out of Adelphia on a good day. I wish optimum would take over here you'd never hear a complaint out of me about having "slow speeds" of "omg" 5000. I'd take a rate increase if i could have their service. | |

| response why are people always complaining about sharing you bandwidth with your neighbor. It does not really matter your speed is never going to be below 1.5-2mbps and either way that's still faster than DSL. so just be happy I constantly get speeds of 8000-9100 KBPS Downloads when I test and get 900 kbps-1000 kbps uploads. | |
